The Organizing Process

Step 1

Let’s Chat (15 min)

We’ll have a brief phone consultation with no pressure during the initial call. During this conversation, I’ll answer any questions you have, uncover your organizing needs and see if we are a good fit for working together.

Step 2

Let’s Meet (1 hr)

Next, we’ll schedule an in-home consultation where I’ll do a more in depth analysis of the project(s). We understand that letting someone into your home to discuss your clutter is a vulnerable and intimidating thought. During your consultation and analysis we promise to be non-judgmental. Together we will implement a plan to get you organized. I’ll also take photos and measurements during this time.

Step 3

Let’s Plan/Shop (Varies)

After the consultation, I’ll create a quote. This is an estimate because things can change after we start organizing.  After approval, I’ll start planning and will send a step-by step plan with how I plan to organize your space. This keeps us accountable as we are organizing your space.  I’ll then send you a shopping list with products that will work in your space and that fit’s your style!

Step 4

Let’s Organize (4 hrs/session, minimum)

This is where the fun begins! A typical organizing session will go something like this:
Sort – Separate everything in the space into like groups.
Purge – Discard of the items you no longer use, want or need.
Assign – Find a specific place for everything in your home.
Containerize – Use containers help create boundaries for your belongings.
Equalize – Maintain balance, or simply keep everything in its place on a regular basis. (Ongoing)
